As usual fast delivery . This isnt just the switch it a complete kit including sealant ,screws and shrink wrap for he cables. The only slightly thing I found a bit odd is the description. It says switch housing. It is just the switch.

Came fast worked great until I fitted it properly . Then the connections were in the water. So had to take them away and solder the wires direct to the switch little fiddly but working great. Will be back if I need anything else.

Everything you need to fit this switch is in the pack!! Apart from tools, this comes with connectors, screws, sleeves even mastic strips, excellent!!

Toilet Flush Switch Replacement

Toilet flush not working. Service engineer reported in 2015 the switch was "badly corroded". I removed the housing from the water tank but could not see the 'corrosion'. Anyway purchased this Thetford switch to replace the 'faulty' one. Very easy to do with excellent diagrams to guide you through the entire process.

The product was excellent with the exception of the heatshrink which whereby the diameter was too great and even applying heat until it neared melting it never reduced to a tight fit and ends had to be taped which will reduce waterproof properties.

. Easy to fit with good instructions. Replacement screws useful, a replacement plastic pin which fits under the blue external cap would have been useful. Excellent service from Leisureshop direct, product delivered to me in Portugal.

This is exact Thetford item 23792 - it is a complete kit of parts ie switch and switch housing; instructions, heat sealing sleeves, boot cover, new hatch sealing gasket and replacement screws.

It is now clear, how micro-switch is vunerable to corrosion: when I fit, I will ensure the boot is tightly fitted to the housing - using a smear of silicon sealant.

Problem solved!
