The FJX7 3000 is designed to perform in a wide range of environments. It handles external temperatures from -2 °C to +52 °C, so you’re sorted whether you’re heading to the Alps or the south of Spain. In high heat, the cooling function is fast and effective—even in larger vehicles. When the temperature drops, the built-in heat pump keeps the living space warm and comfortable. It’s also smart with power. Thanks to the inverter technology, it uses less energy to maintain the set temperature and starts gently, which means it works even on campsites with low amperage or limited fuse protection.

You also get smart control and cleaner air. Connect the unit to your phone via the Dometic Climate app and adjust settings from your bed or campsite chair. New Air distribution unit for the digital FJX models
The elegant air distribution box is a low-profile unit generating a refreshing airflow to the front and back – efficiently and amazingly quietly. The nicely integrated touch control panel allows intuitive control of the temperature and blower level. Warm white ambience lights create a cosy atmosphere in the cabin. Dometic CleanAir technology ensures you can always breathe fresh and healthy air. The Dometic FreshJet FJX ADBD air distribution box fits all digital FreshJet FJX air conditioners (electronic FJX4 models and all FJX7 models). Please note that hoses need to be ordered separately.

Dometic CleanAir air purifier
Our new air purification system uses advanced bipolar ionizer technology to keep your motorhome smelling fresh and clean while greatly reducing allergens, viruses, bacteria and pollutants. Ionizers purify air through several methods. Firstly, they create positive and negative ions to help reduce pathogens, odours, and mould. Bacteria and virus cells are robbed of their life-sustaining hydrogen, reducing their number. Secondly, odours are reduced when they oxidise on contact with the charged ions. Last but not least, the positive and negative ions attach to the particles in the air. Their attractive forces make the particles big­gre. This in turn allows the standard dust filter of your air conditioning system to remove more particles from the air.

Benefits of the inverter compressor
Compared to the compressors used in conventional A/C systems, the inverter compressor of the FreshJet FJX7 series is significantly more quiet, efficient and energy-saving. Controlled by smart electronics, this state-of-the-art compressor type does not have the typical ON/OFF cycles. The compressor speed automatically adapts to the cooling requirements. When the preset temperature has been reached, the inverter compressor won’t cut off. Instead, it continues running superbly quietly at a low speed to keep the temperature on a fairly constant level. A conventional A/C compressor, by contrast, switches on and off over and over again. This causes noise and consumes extra energy.

3 years warranty when fitted at the Dometic Fitting Centre

We have partnered with Dometic to offer you an extra years warranty. If you buy the fitted option above you will take your vehicle to the Dometic Fitting Centre in Tewsbury. The price paid here includes the standard fitting and it will be fitted directly by Dometic themselves. As Dometic are fitting the air conditioning unit, they are happy to offer 3 years warranty instead of 2! You will also have the piece of mind that the fitting of the unit will be first-class as it will be fitted by a dedicated team of Dometic Service Engineers.

What happens once I place the fitted order with us?
Once you place the order with us, we will send your details to the Dometic Fitting Centre. A Dometic team member will then contact you to organise a convenient time for you to bring in your vehicle. Be advised that Dometic will require a photograph of the roof of your vehicle as well as an interior image of the roof light and the surrounding area so they are able to assess if any additional work will be required to fit the unit. We will request this by email after you place the order with us. Please ignore the shipping information. We will not ship the FJX41500 to you, it will be delivered to the fitting centre in Tewkesbury awaiting your vehicle.

Standard fitting involves the removal of an existing 400 by 400 roof light and replacing with, and wiring in, the roof-top unit and installation of the ADB inside the interior of the vehicle. The cost does not include the moving or any other rooftop items you might have e.g. solar panels. If it is found that additional work is required the Dometic Fitting Centre will advise accordingly.
