Very straightforward to set up and use. Looks durable. The manufacturer makes a big deal out of its 10 year guarantee but that only covers the main drum moulding - which rather limits its value. That said, I've no reason to believe that other parts of it will fail prematurely as it looks well made.

Brought this to help with an allotment that currently has no water supply and is about a kilometres walk from home, rolls well across different surfaces and carries plenty of water without leakage. At six foot four I could do with the handle being a little longer but that is not I reckon for most people a real issue.

Not only is the product exactly what I expected but the customer service I received from Leisureshopdirect was superb!
The only thing I was a bit miffed about was having to buy the tap as an extra. I think it should come with the carrier as standard.

We use this as tenters as we tend to get through loads of water and were fed up with filling our silly 7.5l containers. The addition of the tap Hitchman 80TA Tap for Aquaroll, Black and the stand Hitchman 40ST 145 Stand for Aquaroll makes life a little easier - have left reviews for both the tap and the stand with some helpful hints.

Bought this water aquaroll for tent camping, glad i did ,no more bad back and repeated runs to refill at the tap !
washes out easily and stores away leaving no unpleasant smell . I bought a replacement cap with a tap on it so it can be used to fill the kettle /pans without having to lift it up. The roll sits on a frame that i purchased separately, Highly recommended.

Robust And Ideal For The Job

After much research and careful thought I went for the Aqua Roll over the Streetwize. This was purely based on reviews of both products. The extra capacity of the Streetwize would have been useful but don't the down sides.
Firstly the Aqua Roll is expensive but it is very well made. Bearing in mind that it will be used over all types of ground and be able to cover quite large distances, it really does need to be robust. My initial use confirmed that it ticks all these boxes. Plus the 'tyres' or bands are well made and also act as a cushion when full.
The screw caps are handily placed and I found the hose with a push on tap connector supplied, very useful.
I use mine with my Motorhome, so is used for topping up the fresh water tank. A cap with a tap in it is essential and having used it on site, I now think that the cradle is also required. Due to the position of the water filler on my 'van, it is not easy getting the water from the Aqua Roll into the tank.
I have given this product 4 stars not because anything is wrong with it, I just feel it is a little over priced.

Gave up caravanning and bought a motorhome so got rid of our caravan equipment but now bought a sited caravan as well after few years so needed to start equipment buying was shocked how much things have increased in price but this is best around. These have been around for a very long time and still do the job better than competitors. They now have a side port too, which adds to the flexibility of use and emptying. The moulding now includes a place to stow the cap when emptying - the old ones always dropped the cap into the stream and needed three hands to control. The handle is now a 3-piece assembly which is easier to store. The tyres, caps, retainers and other accessories are available separately and it's worth buying a retainer and tyres when they can be found, as at some point in decades to come the rubber will finally split. Highly recommended.

What is there to say! It is as brilliant as the original 29L Aquaroll but bigger and made to the same standard. My parents used an Aquaroll for many years and I started caravanning in the mid '80s and have always used one. Because caravan showers are so good these days I have now bought the 40L to compliment my smaller one. I've bought a bag to put it in too, keeps the van clean. Brilliant

After 36 years of caravaning you get to know the good, the bad and the ugly available for this recreation. The Aquaroll is high on the list of the good. Now at 70 my caravanning days are sadly over but my daughter and her family have just started. I wanted to make sure they had the best and this is one of the things I would highly recommend. It never let me down in many years of service and was always a pleasure to use especially when you think of the jerrycan alternative. Thank you Hitchman.

Bought with the wastemaster and is solidly built, easy to move when full and light enough to move easily when empty. They provide an essential pairing for caravanners and campers everywhere. I would recommend this product to anybody looking for a water carrier/storage system.

Not much to add about the Aquaroll to what is already known- it is tried, tested and lasts. If there are any more than 2 people in your party, you want to get the 45L rather than the 29L one or you will be spending more time than planned at the water tap refilling, no fun in recent weather.
If you are lucky enough to be on a serviced pitch, this has a side opening so you can buy separately a floating valve and hook that directly to the mains supply. This is, in my view, better than a mains adapter going straight to the van: if the regulator on that fails (or anything else), you could risk mains water pressure pumping into the van. Better the floating valve- if that fails, there will just be a puddle safely outside the van.
As for the supplier- top marks. Ordered Sunday afternoon, despatched first thing Monday and it arrived Tuesday afternoon- on standard delivery, well packed. Mind you, I've never known Yodel deliver so fast, but at least the supplier doesn't hang around when it comes to shipping.
All round a good buy- and cheapest on Amazon, and frankly not a great deal more expensive, yet more reassuring, than some of the realtively high priced battered and used samples I've seen on Ebay. Remember, you will be drinking the water that comes out of it, so you want to know where it's been:)

With over 57 years in production they must be worth a look, actually I already own / use 2 of these items. This was purchased for my Daughter & Son in law who have just taken up caravaning so you might as well buy the best on the market.
Note:- The larger tank is the better option due to filler neck sizes some pumps do not fit the smaller tank and filling is also easier with the side filler
