Bad Design!

It is excellent that replacement handles are available but if they were designed well in the first place they would not fail like mine did! If there is the least resistance to the handle operating (eg frozen door) the PLASTIC HANDLE that is supposed to twist the steel mechanism easily breaks. The handle component should be metal - not thin plastic!

Perfect Replacement

Our old handle stopped retracting the door latch back enough to open the door properly so we took it off and adjusted it, which worked for a few days before it slipped back again. We adjusted it again and it again, worked for a few days before slipping back so we decided we needed to buy a new handle. This was the best price we could find from a reputable shop and it arrived reasonably quickly with emails along the way from the shop to keep us updated on delivery. The handle appears to be an exact replacement for the one on our Swift caravan and was easy to fit once you know how. We followed a video on YouTube which explained it clearly and we are very pleased with the result.
