This easy fit breakaway cable from W4 applies the caravan or trailer handbrake in the event of accidental unhitching. There is a high quality carbine hook at one end and a split ring for permanent attachment at the handbrake end. This gives a quick but permanent attachment at the handbrake end without the use of tools.

Brilliant Very Simple To Fit.

I fitted this whilst replacing the jockey wheel and clamp so was even easier, took about 300 secs to fit it. Cutting off the old one takes the time, I was able to use a dremel with a cutting disk which was easier than a hacksaw.

The cable originally fitted to my caravan had become frayed through not having a proper anchor bracket for it on my car. Apart from any safety concerns it became prickly on the hands! It really is "Easy Fit" and somewhat stronger than the original that came with my caravan.
