this was to replace a broken door latch, bad design with weak spring, this is a second failure. Someone needs to let Thetford know.

This easy-fix replacement comes with all the fixtures and fittings to replace an old latch on the Thetford Fridge in our Auto-Sleeper Nuevo. The pesky little spring catches on these latches have an annoying habit of breaking. I have tried just replacing the springs themselves but it is such an awkward, fiddly procedure that this simple, complete replacement does the trick with far less fuss. Delivered really quickly - excellent company to deal with.

As long as you have a T10 attachment, easy to replace and does a great job. Pity the colour has been changed from grey to black as the colour stands out as different, but we'll get used to it!

The original latch's spring had broken in normal use so I went on line to Leisure Direct who displayed a clear diagram of parts so that I was able to ensure that I ordered the correct part. The latch was reasonably priced and arrived pronto. Easy to fit. Works well and I am well pleased.

Shame they only produce this in black instead of the original grey. Main catch is a straight swap but the latch isn't as holes are different spacing and requires to be re-drilled. Otherwise good

Really happy to say this catch fitted my old fridge perfectly in the door. The receiving catch that screws to the frame of the fridge needed new holes drilled but is was easy enough and the entire job took about ten minutes. Seems like a well made product and I'm ecstatic to get back on the road for not a lot of money.

This is the second time I have had to replace this door catch. I tried buying springs instead of buying the whole catch replacement buy they do not arrive. This replacement does the job very well except I wanted a grey one but they afe only available in black. It was as described and delivered quickly. Good buying experience.

Without this the door swings open but the spring breaks and you can't buy a replacement spring. Over the past 6yrs I have spent at least £60 replacing the complete latch. This is wasteful in all ways and extremely irritating......except for Thetford!!

Bought this replacement door latch as the spring had broken on mine. This is the second latch I have bought in 9 years. New latch fits and works ok but but some of the colours have changed from grey to black. Clearly the weak point is the spring. Little alternatve.

A broken return spring making the original useless meant we needed a replacement ASAP. Thetford could do with improving the strength and durability of the spring, but leisureshopdirect.com gave an excellent service, quickly supply the fridge door latch.

Replacement for a 9year old latch. The latch spring broke & this caused the fridge to open on our last trip away resulting in some broken eggs. Fortunately, I have a set of "star" type screwdrivers which are need to remove the old latch and fit the new one. The new one fitted without any problem & the fridge now stays shut ok. Very easy to fit if you have the right screwdrivers.

Spring had gone on our door catch, which whilst not fatal, was annoying. Finally decided to bite the bullet and get a new one and was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was. Very simple to fit - undo 2 screws, remove old catch, place new one in position, replace screws. 2 minutes including undoing the packaging. (And you do get a complete unit - the latch, stay to keep it open when not in use, and the bar which attaches to the fridge, all as illustrated.) Also pleased with the service from Leisureshop. They kept me informed of the progress of the order, and considering it was out of stock when ordered, it arrived quite speedily.
