1. I think we have a problem with our Gas Regulator part number TRuma 0129411. I see from other queries a problem with residues blocking the regulator is a regular problem. We have tried two different gas bottles we know have gas in, and no gas is getting through to appliances, hence we think the regulator. Does this seem correct. 2. Buying a new one - we cannot find this part number on the TRuma web-site or yours. Are the new replacements all with an elbow? 3. Should one fit a filter as well?

The replacement regulator is either part 127224 for 8mm diameter outlet piping or 127225 for 10mm diameter outlet piping. These are complete with an elbow at the inlet.
A filter is a good idea but expensive. It will prevent further failures of the regulator.

2004 Sterling Europa 500 has developed low gas pressure. Full gas bottle. Regulator mounted on bulkhead seems to have no references other than Truma. Silver with yellow on/off tap. How can I identify correct replacement part and could I easily fit this myself or is it vital to have a fully qualified "gas" person to do it?

The truma regulator has packed up. You would need to know if it is an 8mm or 10mm outside diameter of outlet pipe in order to know which one to purchase. If the caravan is rented for profit then the installer must be gas safe registered, if it is used for personal use the fitter must be gas competent.

Unable to review comprehensively. Arrived quickly and brand new in box. Really easy to fit. Seems to perform perfectly. Have installed as replacement for defective unit so not yet used extensively.

Well fitted regulator and tested it over the weekend away. Easy to fit, straight forward swop over. Working perfectly and cheaper than going to our local caravan dealership who also wanted an extra £60 for fitting along with the cost of £70 for regulator. No wonder the high Street is on its knees when there just hiking up the prices.

Needed to replace the regulator on our motorhome as it had started to leak. Settled on the Truma gas regulator as it has a good brand name and looks a quality part. Not fitted and tested as yet but I would expect this to be up to the mark.
