Installation by simply sliding the awning into the existing caravan rail, no drilling is necessary.

The Thule 1200 Awning is great lightweight option for your caravan. It provides brilliant shelter from the rain and shine and is a good cheaper alternative to the aluminium case awnings. Its colour fast PVC-coated fabric helps to protect against UV and rain, while its double safety lock ensures the awning doesn't open whilst driving, as it secures both ends of the front rail.

Very simple to install the Thule 1200
The awning simply slides onto the caravan rail and the canopy and legs are rolled out from the bag. The bag is left at the caravan rail and is used to protect the awning against the weather when it is not in use. As it is fed on to the caravan rail, in extended periods of non-use it can be easily removed and stored elsewhere to prolong its life.

Thule have given much thought to the design of the awning and the swing-out support & tension legs are designed to prevent damage to the wall of your caravan when erecting but also enables a very fast set-up time.

Ease of use
Choose a manual awning with a telescopic hand crank for easy opening and closing or a motorised awning that is effortless using a remote control or switch. Thanks to the Thule Quick Release system, the support legs can be released on demand to prevent them from falling during the set-up. All support legs are dropped vertically to reduce the risk of damaging your caravan. Easily adjust the legs to the right height with the user-friendly Thule Quick Lock system.

Superior stability
Thule awnings are equipped with sturdy tension arms combined with an innovative roller tube support. This not only creates a perfectly tensioned awning fabric but also increases resistance to wind for safer usage. Depending on the awning type, lengths from 4.00m and more are supplied with an integrated tensioning system as standard or an extra tension rafter to keep the fabric even tighter. All our awnings are tested in various weather conditions for optimal stability.
