The Thule Omnistor 5200 is another top quality awning from Thule. It fits almost any type of vehicle and its design and look match the contemporary recreational vehicles design and is better integrated on the vehicle sides. This new awning is up to 3% lighter than its predecessor and is available in 7 different lengths from 1.90m to 4.50m with a maximum projection of 2.50m. The awning cassette is made from sturdy aluminium profiles that guarantee long lasting safety and reliability.

Fabric Colour: All of our Thule awnings come with a Mystic Grey Fabric. All of the close up photos use show this colour fabric.


Thule 5200 Casing Choices
The Thule 5200 comes with a choice of three case choices. These are identified in the photos but the options are anodised, white or anthracite.

High-quality, long-lasting Roll-out Fabric
The roll out fabric, available in Mystic Grey is composed of one single sheet and welded joints allow a perfectly waterproof and long-lasting awning. Thule have tried and tested a huge amount of fabrics and the chosen light fabric also helps the Thule 5200 awning to retain fabric tension which reduces the build-up of puddles on the roof. Depending on your awning type, you can choose different finishes for your awning fabric. Whatever finish you choose, the top-quality 5-layer PVC fabric is printed on both sides, and coated to keep the fabric colour fixed, watertight, washable and durable. You will also keep cool and safe as the coating even increases UV and heat resistance.

Design & Ease of use
The Thule 5200 has been designed with functionality and ease of use in mind. It is equipped with Thule’s Quick-lock system allowing adjustment and setting of the legs exceptionally easily. All supporting brackets are very well engineered and enable easy unlocking of the legs and storage into the lead rail. A further design feature is that the newly designed oval support legs can be set vertically from the lead rail which means there is less chance of you damaging the side wall of your caravan or motorhome.

Choose a manual awning with a telescopic hand crank for easy opening and closing or a motorised awning that is effortless using a remote control or switch. Thanks to the Thule Quick Release system, the support legs can be released on demand to prevent them from falling during the set-up. All support legs are dropped vertically to reduce the risk of damaging your caravan. Easily adjust the legs to the right height with the user-friendly Thule Quick Lock system.

Superior stability & Attractive design
Thule awnings are equipped with sturdy tension arms combined with an innovative roller tube support. This not only creates a perfectly tensioned awning fabric but also increases resistance to wind for safer usage. Depending on the awning type, lengths from 4.00m and more are supplied with an integrated tensioning system as standard or an extra tension rafter to keep the fabric even tighter. All our awnings are tested in various weather conditions for optimal stability. Thule awnings have a timeless design that perfectly matches your caravan. A bit of Luxury - 12V Motor Option
If you would like to simply press a button on a remote control to wind the awning in and out then why not spoil yourself and choose this add-on. The awning won't let you over-tense the fabric and it is a will make setting up the awning very easy. You can choose this option on the larger awnings (3.05m/3.55m/4.05m/4.55m). A 12 VDC motor with manual override mechanism allows you to open the awning without any effort. Control is made with a switch through one touch command. Only 0,6 kg additional weight and 3cm additional length compared to a manual awning
