Within the family series of Outwell, the Outwell Rockwell 6 Poled Tent stands out as an excellent choice for extended family getaways. This outdoor accommodation solution provides a wealth of space across three zones, crafted perfectly for unwinding, cooking, and dining. Each living quarter has been thoughtfully designed, with the tent consisting of three darkened sleeping areas, each equipped with ample airflow. The tertiary zone wall characteristically includes mesh windows with convenient toggle-up curtains. In adverse weather scenarios, the generously sized wet zone doubles up as a sheltered entrance or a dedicated storage space.

The structural layout of the Outwell Rockwell 6 Poled Tent offers substantial comfort for a large family. The three distinctive zones comprise a wet room, a dry living room, and a bedroom. The tent's front inner space can be utilised either for storing gear or as an additional bedroom. If more living area is required, it may be readily detached. The high-quality, waterproof, and sewn-in groundsheet adds to the overall durability of the tent, ensuring lasting resistance against wear and tear.

Every aspect of the Outwell Rockwell 6 Poled Tent is designed with user-experience in mind. Detail such as the Dark Premier Bedrooms fitted with mesh ventilation assists families with restful sleep amid natural surroundings. The tent's flysheet has a light, warm-tone that imbues the interior with a bright and cheerful ambience, adding to the overall camping experience. Notably, the tent also features double zippers on the front door, supported by a full mesh panel that allows for a range of insect-free ventilation options. The tent is also equipped with an additional side door incorporating a mesh panel for improved ventilation and flexible access.

From a technical standpoint, the Outwell Rockwell 6 Poled Tent is a five-room tunnel structure tent capable of comfortably accommodating six people. It incorporates three bedrooms, a living room, and a built-in awning. The tent’s flysheet is composed of Outtex® 3000 Select polyester that is known for its resilience and durability. The floor inner is made up of PU-coated Taffeta polyester for enhanced insulation and comfort. Duratec fibreglass 12.7mm poles support this structure, making it robust against harsh weather conditions. The Hydrostatic Head rating of 3000 mm ensures superior water resistance, keeping the inside dry under any circumstance. At a weight of 22.2kg, this remarkable tent offers convenient portability. Despite its large living area catering brilliantly for larger groups, it packs down to a compact 79 x 43 x 37 cm for easy transport or storage.

    Features at a Glance
Hanging StorageYes A flexible hanging system which allows you to easily attach lighting or storage in your tent living area. Items of up to 1.5Kg can be conveniently hung along this beading rail, usually by a hook system.
Hydrostatic Head (mm)3000The hydrostatic head of a fabric indicates how well it can keep water out and how waterproof it is. The higher the number, the better! A tent needs to have at least 1000mm HH for light showers, heavy rain and driving wind will put more pressure on the fabric and would therefore require a higher HH of 2000mm. Anything higher than this figure means it can keep out water being pushed through by someone leaning against it for example.
MaterialPolyesterMost tents are made from different denier polyester, which is a lightweight, very waterproof material. Polycotton is a heavier fabric, that breathes well allowing campers to stay cooler in sunnier climates. It is also very good at reducting condensation inside the tent.
Number of Bedrooms3This is the number of sectioned off bedrooms that are included in this tent. The standard industry allowance is 60cm per person, though larger or premium tents often provide more space.
Persons6Tent berth indicates how many people your tent can accommodate for sleeping. The industry standard allocates about 60cm of width per occupant, though exact dimensions can vary by manufacturer. If you prefer extra elbow room, you may want a tent berth larger than your headcount. Many campers size up by one or two berths to improve comfort on longer trips.
Pole constructionPoled (Fibreglass)This is whether the poles are inflatable (air) or rigid (e.g - fibreglass / steel or aluminium).
Porch AreaYesA porch area gives campers a lot of extra room, that can be used as a wet zone (drying off before entering the main living space), storage of all your outside gear overnight, or as a place to cook and dine or a great area for your family dog to sleep. It adds a lot of versatility to your camping lifestyle.
Weight (kg)22.20This is the weight of the tent in kg.
