could you please tell me if the Waeco PerfectPower inverter PP150 product ref;147935 have a permanent cooling fan or does it cut in when needed.

Answer

The inverter is cooled with a load and temperature dependent fan. The inverter is equipped with protection against thermal and electrical overloading, as well as excess and insufficient voltage. The inverter switches off if its internal temperature is too high, if the load exceed the values stated or if the input voltage is too high or too low.
