Protective Covers
Undo the two bolts that hold the hitch onto the drawshaft and remove the hitch. Undo the bolt that hold the rear of the damper onto the chassis.
Remove the damper either forwards or backwards as possible. Fit the new damper attaching the rear fixing first. Compress the damper using a wooden block or similar until the eye of the damper aligns with the rear fixing hole for the hitch. It is now necessary to hold the damper in this position and this is best done by inserting a short length of rod in the hole whilst fitting the hitch. This rod can then be pushed through when inserting the fixing bolt. Fit the second bolt to secure the hitch.
