Protective Covers
To install an element to any Thetford fridge you will need to open the insulation jacket around the heat tube to allow you to extract the old element. This can be a bit fiddly as if you damage it is more difficult to clip it back together again. Once you have installed the element into the heat tube , ensuring it is correctly located in the retaining tube you just need to connect the wires in the same place as the old ones.
If you have any reservations about carrying out this job I would suggest enlisting the services of a Thetford trained engineer.
