For some reason the original had gone all deformed; I don't know how but it looked like heat distortion - on a cold water tap? Anyway this new one fitted ok and sorted the problem out, once I had sourced it and avoided buying a complete new tap unit.

Blues fit perfectly in my Comet Taps, but the Reds are a fraction thicker, so I now have four Blue connectors.

I had fitted a new tap unit sometime ago which started a bad leak ,water pumping down the back of the sink unit. I discovered the angled tail had never been moulded correctly and had blown off under pressure. The item was delivered in a Jiffy bag within two days of ordering .

Fits Smev Fold Down Tap

After a renovation in my campervan I had to take the sink out and when I tried to get the pipes off the mixer tap, the tails broke on both of them. To replace the tap is around £40 so I bought the red and blue ones from Leisureshop direct. Inc the postage it was less than £7 and thought it was worth the risc to see if they would do the job. Pleased to say that they are a perfect fit.

I have a comet tap fitted to the cooker and sink unit made by smev. This angled tail for the comet tap keeps breaking or snapping off. Poor design from the people that make the comet tap. However I am pleased that I have found one to replace it via Leasure direct. Excellent service from first contact another website was so easy to use and order from. Super fast delivery.

bought this to replace a broken original tail on a smev tap. The fit was perfect, it is probably as good as the original part, and a straightforward fit, the same as the original, so was easy
Angled Tail For Camper Van Tap

Difficult to put a rating to this really; it either works or it doesn't. So far it does though. Installed a week or so ago, was tight to get fully on but needs to be to be leak-proof. Replaced an old one as previous fitting was so tight (no slack piping) that it split when the sink was removed. However we still have a leak where the pipe (one I cobbled together with a bit of hose and connector to give a bit of slack) still leaks, so correct piping is required, as is the tap/tap washer as tap will not turn off fully. Great that these parts can still be obtained.

Perfect, but be aware the tail does not come with the rubber seal (O ring).
I have an Autocruise Accent, smev sink and tap, my hot tap connection has given me problems at the jubilee clip. One day I heated the water to 60 degrees and the whole hose came off the tail. I put the hose back and tightened the clip, I doing this I cracked the tail. Replaced both hot and cold tails and so far so good things look OK.

Comet Tap Tail Repair

The tail on my Campervan tap had been crushed by the jubilee clip securing the plastic pipe, and was now oval in shape and difficult to get a good seal. Note: The original tail was a very tight fit and required application of a bit of force to remove it once the retaining screws had been removed.
The length of the replacement tail was somewhat shorter where it goes into the tap, so it had to be inserted into the tap with its retainer already in place around it, but other than that it is a perfect fit and saved the cost of a completely new tap.
