A replacement for a Thetford porta potty. Bought this at a very good price leisureshopdirect far cheaper than anyone else. I would say the design is far simpler than the Thetford but seems ok but only time will tell. Minor gripe is when you flush if pressed too hard water will splash over front of seat so a slightly poor design. Overall happy with purchase and happy buying from leisure shop direct.

Needed a temp loo while we rebuilt our bathroom and this was n ideal choice. Very sturdy and solid but not too heavy to empty. Very nice quality - Dometic make some lovely stuff. Great prices as they are such a big company. Ever so easy to use and empty. Very pleased that the way it is designed made it very easy to ‘clean’. Oh...very comfortable to sit on too ha.

Item arrived and was well priced however unfortunately the one of the toilet lid hinges had snapped off. I do not think this could have happened in transit as it was well packed, possibly a returned item nobody checked? Either way I do not have the time to return it so we are just gonna no to glue it. Other than that came pretty fast and well priced.

Bought this to put in my camper van but found it was too big to fit in the cupboard provided so I had to buy a separate tent for it. Not a problem though, it's a very sturdy portaloo and not too low. The seat does however seem a little flimsy. The only problem was that it arrived without two screw on caps, one for the upper tank and one for the lower, without these it was unusable. I emailed the seller with photos to show what was missing and they sent the missing parts the next day, so well done to them. Once the loo was complete it worked perfectly. You will need to buy the special toilet roll and the appropriate fluids to put in it but these are freely available.

I purchased this for the four weeks that my bathroom was being extended and re-fitted. Given the price it was an acceptable alternative to a fitted toilet. Emptying it was an interesting experience, albeit the 'solids' were last out there was no smell. I found that it filled up within a week based on morning and evening use only, but probably cheaper than hirering a 'davlav' type site toilet. Nevertheless was pleased to chuck it on the skip after four weeks (unemptied!).

The Dometic 966 toilet has proved to be a good size and easy to use with a smooth sliding flush and, so far, odour-free. It's very light but then it feels a little flimsy compared to our old porta-potti so I'm not sure how well it will hold up if it gets bashed while emptying.

bought this for my mum as she is housebound now and no toilet upstairs, sturdy and works a treat. only uses of a night time. one thing I'm still a bit puzzled with is the chemicals you use. wondering if anyone can guide me. I have put pink flush liquid in the bowl when I have opened the flush valve and blue liquid in base but when it flushes it flushed blue? am I putting the deodrants in correctly

This item was taken in by my neighbour one of the honest ones. No card was put in my door and things go missing along with letters on this estate. therefore I recommend the company you deal with for getting these items to your clients NEED TAKING TO. The toilet has been used on the other fishing boat we have this morning. I received a text and my brother said its much more human than the bucket we had behind, a curtained cubical. it also can be left until it is fuller as its right next to were we steer the boat.

hi, bought this to go in our shower room,( main bathroom is downstairs) to help to teach our 4yr to go the toilet during the night instead of wetting himself. came assembled and the instructions on how to take apart when emptying where very clear, the toilet itself is quite sturdy and just the right height to be sat on aswell, If there is a downside i cant find one, overall an excellent little toilet. DONT FORGET TO GET THE REQUIRED SANITISER CHEMICALS FOR THE WASTE TANK AND THE FLUSH.

This portable toilet was middle of the range price wise. Required when existing bathroom was being refitted instead of trecking downstairs to use the other bathroom especially at night in the dark. I bought this toilet for use in my art studio, which doesn't have mains sewerage. I was used to chemical loos having been a motorhomer for years, although my previous experiences were with electrically powered ones. This is manual, but works fine. It is easy to set up, easy to use and keep clean, and I thoroughly recommend it for occasional use.
