Connected between the mains inlet socket and the Consumer Unit. When plugging in to a continental hook up ensure that the green light shows. If a red light shows simply operate the switch to change polarity and ensure safe operation of your 230 volt system.

The Mains Polarity changeover switch if a fantastic piece of equiptment which could save you a fortune if you connect your caravan/motorhome to a reversed polarity main supply. It is placed between the RCD box and the Mains Supply coupling to the caravan. Its a simple DIY job if you are electrically competent. Good guide and instructions to show you where all cables go. Once fitted all you have to do is look at the box before turning main RCD box on. If there's a green light on the mains polarity changeover box, mains supply is correct. If the red light is on .The mains polarity is wrong. There is a switch on the changeover box.which you then push. This changes the polarity for you and the green light switched on. Job Done ! Slightly more expensive than other mains polarity checkers but saves you the trouble of getting your screwdriver out in the middle of setting up your caravan.
