Bought as a bundle with an Avtex tv.
Sound quality is very good which will make viewing films a much better experience. Would recommend this sound bar.

Flat screen televisions have never had really good audio, and generically, the thinner they are, the worse they sound, with many exhibiting a tinny, high pitch audio with no substance. Many would argue that this is acceptable in a caravan or motorhome as you shouldn’t be watching TV and should be getting out and about – a polarising argument. We spend a lot of time away in our caravan – probably twenty weekends a year plus holidays, and let’s face it, the weather isn’t always good enough to be outside. Where this is the case we love ‘Movie Nights’ in. Our new caravan has a built in Avtex 32” TV. Adding the Avtex soundbar has made a world of difference. The tinny audio has been replaced by deeper, richer sound. I have connected the soundbar to an HDMI ARC channel on the TV, and it (mostly) recognises the soundbar immediately, with the TV remote changing the volume on the soundbar over HDMI. Be aware that the soundbar can get ‘confused’ if you have additional devices, e.g. blu-ray player or Amazon TV Cube, that try to connect to the soundbar before the TV has ‘woken up’. I have found the best way to prevent this is to turn off CEC on the additional devices – CEC only saves one or two button presses on the remote for the associated device, so no great shakes there. The Avtex sound bar also acts as a Bluetooth speaker and you can easily connect your phone or other enabled device to it if you have a streaming service or stored audio files. The features on this soundbar make it worth while, You have a choice of 12v or mains power, so it can still be used off the grid. it also has several ways of connecting the audio to it, I'm using the headphone jack as the HDMI didn't work for me, but its also Bluetooth, optical & RGB ready so you have plenty of choices.
It gives of a nice loud sound but struggles a little with the treble, Its a bit bassy, When playing music via Bluetooth or from the TV it sounds great i cannot complain, it just when watching a movie you get all the crashes & thumps but when they talk its a little muffled (although still audible) i'd still buy another if it came to it as for its price its worth it, & finally it comes with a bracket that allows it to be slung just below the tv if its wall mounted, mines on a swivel arm so everything stays together & the sound points whatever way the TVs facing.

Came on time. Well packaged. Easy to connect with Avtex TV. Really improves the sound of the TV. Works extremely well independent of TV, like connecting with iPhone.

The sound bar is to be used with our avtex pro tv in our caravan. It was easy to assemble and attach to the tv. The sound is good . Very good value for money.

We bought it for our camper. It certainly improves the sound of our television. Had a little bit of a problem to start with, every time we put it on we had unplug the lead and then put back. In fact it wouldn’t come on at all at one point. We put the television back to factory settings and now all is ok.

Sounds pretty good but would just like to clarify something I missed.
When using with an Avtex TV the soundbar attaches to the tv when you remove the stand but... you cannot then use the soundbar as a stand. This is designed to be mounted on a tv that is already on a wall bracket.
Wasn’t a big deal for me as I was able to site the soundbar behind the tv on a shelf but you cannot then see the led display showing you what input mode you are in.
It does come with a multitude of cables allowing for various connections.

Much improved sound quality.Fitted easily to my Avtex TV but unfortunately obstructs the power button on the TV so you can’t access it .Can live with it but would have been nice to know beforehand.

This is a welcome addition - this is my third Avtex TV and they have all been let down by sound quality - if only the designers had thought about the way the rear plugs stick out and prevent flush mounting to a motorhome wall. Every time I put the TV into "park mode" I have to take the plugs out as they wont allow the TV to be secured in the bracket. Maybe a better design would be to have the connections underneath????

Put this in my motorhome - its incredible for something so small. Fit easily to my existing Avtex TV - just fitted where the old floor stand used to be (its on on the wall).
I had some questions when setting it up - customer service was out of this world good. Answered in a few rings, listened and then gave me the solution in seconds. Ace when you are as impatient as me. Thanks guys.

Good sound would have given 5 stars if I hadn’t had to send it back because it stopped working it was sent back in the same packaging it looked like it hadn’t been looked at until I call the company who assured me it was all find. Length of the leads are not long enough.

Very nifty sound bar for the Avtex TV in my motorhome. Full choice of audio inputs and supplied cables and a nice remote control. Quite good sound although it's lacking in bass - but its good enough. I was disappointed that it required two small bolts to attach it to the bottom of the TV and they didn't supply them. The instructions book said to use the two small bolts from the old TV stand but my old stand didn't have them as it was attached to the back of the TV via the DIN bracket using four larger bolts.

Much improved sound from my Avtex TV, expensive to buy but worth the money. Easy to fit to the wall mounted Avtex TV in my touring caravan and no noticeable increased drain on my leisure battery when camping for over 2 weeks without a mains hook-up and dependent on my roof mounted 150w solar panel.

Had pc speakers before to increase volume which helped a fair bit, because of the price this was a very reluctant purchase but really pleased with sound quality, a must if you watch films and box sets like us , superb bit of kit Love the way it fits onto the base stand when wall mounted
