Propex 10 Litre.

Purchased to replace an old gas water heater in the caravan, permanently sited so electric is the natural choice. Fitted myself in less than an hour (Technically trained ), not to sure how watertight the push fits will be but time will tell. The Wife had a shower and was happy with the temperature and flow, unfortunately it was about 2 minutes short for her! I think a 15 litre version would be just right to shower comfortably or ….get a good haircut… In summary the Propex 10 litre electric water storage heater is adequate but a larger capacity would make it an excellent choice.

I have just fitted this Propex 10l. heater to my Weinsberg 390QD caravan to replace a Truma Therme heater. I took the opportunity to move the location of the heater and found the fitting process very easy. We have used the heater on one trip so far and it performed perfectly, just set the temperature and forget it, no problems.

The best electric only water heaters you can buy. The 6L is fine usually but if you have a shower the 10L is better. With nearly all sites offering hookup don't bother with a gas one, it is a waste of time. Great customer service from Leisureshopdirect and from Propex if you need it. Simple install. Forget German Truma products, the parts are ridiculously expensive.
Much Better Than Previous Heater.

Bought to replace a Truma TT2. Dead easy to fit - two pipes and a plug. And you have controllable water temperature, non of this risk of being scalded by a 'pre-set' thermometer. Only problem I found was the drain down pipe. It's a very weak connection onto the connector, and may risk coming off at some point. So check it before draining down.
