The roomy quick-pitching Robens Klondike Grande provides excellent levels of comfort for up to nine people. The vertical door makes for easy access – especially in bad weather. Protective eaves run around the tent to shelter door and walls from rain run off. The zip-in groundsheet features a zip to the centre alloy pole, enabling it to be rolled away to create a safe area in which to use an optional tent stove and a place for muddy boots. The bell tent features the neat Internal Apex Vent Control that can be easily opened from inside using just two cords neatly channelled along the walls.

Robens Tests: Robens Wind Test: The determination of the performance of a Robens tent in wind is based on the knowledge and technique available to Robens at the time of testing. During the test we register the maximum (MAX) speed impact a tent was subjected and the average (AVG) wind speed at which structural instability occurred. This may appear as a broken/deformed pole, or the collapse of the tent and subsequent return to shape when the wind drops. At no point was any form of catastrophic failure experienced up to the maximum wind speed.

Great tent and well made. Only a couple of small issue stopped it getting five stars. The pegs are truly awful and not fit for a tent of this size. Go and buy some heavy steel pegs and throw the supplied ones in the bin. Also the guy lines are not the best quality which is a pity with a tent at this price. This does not put me off recommending the tent however as its well made, dry and a really nice space to stay in and I will address the above issues as I go. I can see me keeping this tent for a while.
