Thule Awning Gear Assy + Coupler

When winding the awning had been clunking for a while. Then it wouldn't wind in! Ordered the part after seeing a recommendation on a Social Media site. Quick delivery an excellent service from Leisure Shop Direct. Wound the awning fully out, just a couple of screws to replace the Thule Awning Gear Coupler and it wound back in completely. Had always stuck out a bit, now fits flush. Wish we'd replaced it earlier, it was so simple to do.

Excellent product the Thule awning gear assembly fits and works perfect. Leisureshop direct are great company to deal with fast delivery and a competitive and fair price. Only downside on my part is I wish you’d sent someone to fit it. Not the easiest job I’ve had to do. I will definitely deal with you again. Many thanks.

Omnistor 5002 Replacement

Product as described and excellent delivery time under 48 hours. With use the awning locking mechanism wears and drops resulting in the locking mechanism fouling putting excess strain on the gearbox. Eventually the gears strip. Replacement is rather tricky with Autotrails due to the awning being recessed. Disassembly is easy and can be accomplished by loosening retaining bolts and slidind the awning away from the recess but reassembly caused issues resulting in the whole system having to be removed, not for the feint hearted but we managed.

Bought this as our awning was clicking when winding up and had a guess it would be this part, it was the cheapest I could find and the staff at leisure shop direct are fantastic and rushed the order out as I left it till the last min before we headed off to the south of france. Had it all fitted and working great within half an hour of delivery. Now sat under the awning on holiday writing this knowing it will wind up perfectly . Thank you leisure shop direct a first class service

This product was bought to replace a failed original on my Omnistore awning. (Original fault gears broken and not winding) The new one purchased is a different design and I hope more robust as original not strong enough for the job.

Excellent done the job unfortunately on the recessed autotrail awnings it is a bit harder job which requires the partial removal of the whole awning but once it is removed it is a ten minute job. Awning goes in and out no problem. Perhaps Ormister should look at this fault as talking to repair agent it is a regular failure which keeps him in work.
