Product Description

Heavy duty jockey wheel with 42mm shaft. Suitable for heavier trailers and catering vehicles. As you may well know a jockey wheel is a vital piece of kit for supporting your caravan or trailer when hitching up and also for stability when it is unhitched. You may or may not be supplied with jockey wheel and clamp when purchasing your trailer or caravan, but even if you are it may become damaged or punctured or even lost whilst out travelling. For any of these instances you can have peace of mind knowing that spares are available. Maypole supplies a wide range of jockey wheels, clamps, spares and accessories to cater to a whole host of needs.

This particular Maypole jockey wheel comes ready to fit with a fully fitted tyre. The wheel itself is a 200mm steel wheel which is surrounded by a robust and durable rubber tyre. It is also easy to connect to whatever you are towing and can be fixed into place with a clamp. It can also be easily raised and lowered by using the already attached to it. This product is an ideal replacement for any damaged jockey wheels or for when towing with a new nose weight. This jockey wheel is suitable for towing a nose weight of up to but not exceeding 500kg.

Strong and sturdy. Had to replace the clamp on th trailer as the diamiter of the wheel to wide for a standard clamp. But that was my mistake.

It's good but take care when ordering as there are lots of these on Amazon and some have clamps and this one doesn't. Even though i'd spotted that I still somehoe managed to order one without a clamp - think it got in my basket accidentally.

Good jockey wheel if you don't need a replacement clamp as well though :-)

I needed a replacement jockey wheel for my 750 KG load trailer. This is fine for the job. It easily raises and lowers with a full load and is smooth in operation. A really good feature is the lock for the raising lever. This stops the wheel descending while in transit. It does exactly what I want with no fuss and speedy delivery to boot. I would recommend this.
