Choosing a television antenna can be a confusing business because there is such a variety of makes, shapes and sizes out there! We have found that one of the easiest antenna to use is the Image 420 UHF TV Antenna as it is a well priced efficient antenna which gives both UK Digital and Analogue reception. It is a wide band antenna which receives all transmissions from 470-860Mhz, covering bands A-D , channels 21-68 and is channel 5 compatible. The simple mast adaptor makes antenna removal easy and allows for rotation for either vertical or horizontal television reception. Any of the masts in the Vision Plus range will fit and 25mm diameter mast kits will also fit. These antenna are not supplied with masts which gives greater choice to you, enabling you to purchase the mast which best suits you. A popular mast is the Multi Mast for Vision Plus Antennas, a mast designed to clamp onto various exterior channeling on caravans, motor homes and boats, without the need for drilling holes.
Can the Image 420 pick up digital terrestrial signals?
It is compatible with digital terrestrial signals being a wide band directional antenna, but the makers warn that in poorer strength area it is recommended to use an amplifier such as the Vision Plus Digital TV Amplifier VP2
