The company collaborated with Airstream and MINI to showcase the best in both design and functionality with a one-off MINI Cooper S Clubman and trailer for last month's Salone del Mobile show in Milan.
Copenhagen-based Republic of Fritz Hansen's minimalist and functional design was applied to the interior of the MINI Cooper S Clubman and Airstream trailer with inspiration drawn from the outdoor lifestyle of surfing.
New interpretations of Arne Jacobsen's Egg and Swan Chairs were among the interior offerings that would likely appeal to any trendy motorhome or caravan owner.
Bob Wheeler, chief executive of Airstream, said the concept "presents a surprisingly different way of using a MINI and an Airstream with a design, which consciously transcends into the world of the surfer".
Caravan water heaters, such as the Truma Ultrastore, can ensure users of motohomes enjoy spending time in their mobile residences.
