People with motorhomes and home-from-home accessories and items like 12v televisions are continuing to flock to holiday parks across the UK, according to an historic holiday park celebrating 105 years of successful service.
Caister Holiday Park, owned by British seaside holiday experts Haven, stems back to a homeowner, John Fletcher Dodd, who allowed three holidaymakers to stay in his back garden in 1907.
"The sheer eclectic mix of fun, entertainment, relaxation and lifestyle on offer" is the reason for the continued popularity of caravan holidays in Britain, according to a spokesperson for Haven.
It claimed the fact caravan sales have continued to rise despite the economic climate indicates "UK caravan holidays are a favourite with all kinds of people".
The company owns 36 parks in England and Scotland and has been in the industry for over 40 years.
Caravanners visiting Caister Holiday Park will have the opportunity to enjoy the buzz of Great Yarmouth as well as the relative calm of the nearby Norfolk countryside.
