So many people find that their Whale or Truma submersible water pumps will not work when plugged in for the first time this season. Through the winter the pump has been left in the caravan, in the sink or in a cupboard and with the tiniest amount of water residing in the pump the pump is likely to suffer frost damage.
The Whale Watermaster submersible pump or the Truma Crystal and Truma Ultraflow pumps should either be snugly wrapped in a towel or taken into your house each winter. This should avoid the expense of purchasing a new pump in the Spring.
In your kit of caravan accessories it is prudent to carry a spare pump.
